Supporting Families Affected by Dementia

On May 23, 2026, the Rotary Club of Paramaribo, in partnership with Stichting Alzheimer Suriname, hosted a meaningful seminar focused on the challenges faced by families caring for individuals with dementia. Titled "How to Handle Problematic Behavior in Dementia," the event became a crucial resource for attendees looking to better understand and manage the complexities of caregiving.
 
Dr. K. Luckham, a respected clinical geriatrician, led the seminar, sharing her valuable insights on how to approach problematic behaviors associated with dementia.
