PolioPlus Society Club Challenge

 
As a new offering to our Rotary family and as a special effort towards World Polio Day 2023, the District 7030 PolioPlus Society (PPS) wants to recognize and honor Rotary and Rotaract clubs which are helping to promote and build the District 7030 PPS during the 2023-2024 Rotary year.
 
Introducing District 7030 PPS Club Challenge – inspire, encourage and secure members to join the PPS.
 
Remember...
  • Rotary International is asking all clubs to meet the goal of US $1500 in contributions to the PolioPlus Fund during the 2023-2024 Rotary year
  • Earn points towards the District Citation for every PPS member in your club
 

Criteria

To be eligible for the District 7030 PPS Club Challenge
  1. Your Rotary or Rotaract club must have at least five (5) current members of the District 7030 PPS among your active and/or honorary membership by 31st October 2023
  2. Members of the District 7030 PPS in your club must have cumulatively contributed at least US $1500.00 to the PolioPlus Fund between 01st July and 31st October 2023
    • All eligible members of the District 7030 PPS in your club must have contributed at least US $100 to the PolioPlus Fund for the 2023-2024 Rotary year
    • Even if one (1) member or fewer than five (5) members of the District 7030 PPS in your club has/have contributed US $1500 or more to the PolioPlus Fund (individually / cumulatively) for the 2023-2024 Rotary year, your club is still required to have at least five (5) current/existing members of the District 7030 PPS by 31st October to qualify for the challenge
    • New members of the District 7030 PPS (that is, those who join the District 7030 PPS between 01st September and 31st October 2023) will be counted towards your club's qualification for this challenge
    • Only contributions to the PolioPlus Fund for the 2023-2024 Rotary year made between 01st July and 31st October 2023 will count towards your club's qualification...any contributions made prior to 1st July 2023 or after 31st October 2023 (including existing commitments to contribute via Rotary Direct) will not count towards qualifying for this challenge
  3. Each club that meets the above criteria must complete the challenge recognition form (see below) on or before 31st October in order to be recognized
  4. The deadline for clubs to complete the challenge is 31st October 2023 

Recognition

  • Rotary and Rotaract clubs in District 7030 which meet the above criteria and report such using the challenge recognition form will be publicly recognized between 01st September and 31st October
  • The top 3 clubs in the following categories will be specially recognized and honored on 01st November 2023
    • Club with most number of District 7030 PPS members
    • Club with largest total contribution to the PolioPlus Fund (between 01st July and 31st October) by District 7030 PPS members
    • Club with largest per capita contribution to the PolioPlus Fund (between 01st July and 31st October) by District 7030 PPS members 
  • All PPS Club Challenge participating clubs will receive a special commendation from District 7030

Dans le cadre d'une nouvelle offre à notre famille rotarienne et d'un effort particulier en vue de la Journée Mondiale Contre la Polio 2023, la Société PolioPlus (PPS) du District 7030 souhaite reconnaître et honorer les clubs Rotary et Rotaract qui contribuent à la promotion et au développement de la PPS du District 7030 au cours de l'année rotarienne 2023-2024.

  • Le Rotary International demande à tous les clubs d'atteindre l'objectif de 1 500 USD de contributions au Fonds PolioPlus au cours de l'année rotarienne 2023-2024.
  • Gagnez des points pour la citation du District pour chaque membre PPS de votre club
 

Critères

Pour être éligible au Challenge des clubs PPS du District 7030
  1. Votre club Rotary ou Rotaract doit compter au moins cinq (5) membres actifs et/ou honoraires de la PPS du District 7030 avant le 31 octobre 2023.
  2. Les membres PPS du District 7030 de votre club doivent avoir versé au total au moins 1500 $ US au Fonds PolioPlus entre le 1er juillet et le 31 octobre 2023.
    1. Tous les membres éligibles de la PPS du District 7030 de votre club doivent avoir versé au moins 100 USD au Fonds PolioPlus pour l'année rotarienne 2023-2024.
    2. Même si un (1) membre ou moins de cinq (5) membres PPS du District 7030 de votre club a contribué à hauteur de 1500 USD ou plus au Fonds PolioPlus (individuellement / cumulativement) pour l'année rotarienne 2023-2024, votre club est toujours tenu d'avoir au moins cinq (5) membres actuels/existants du District 7030 PPS d'ici le 31 octobre pour se qualifier pour le défi.
    3. Les nouveaux membres du District 7030 PPS (c'est-à-dire ceux qui rejoignent le District 7030 PPS entre le 01 septembre et le 31 octobre 2023) seront pris en compte dans la qualification de votre club pour ce challenge.
    4. Seules les contributions au Fonds PolioPlus pour l'année rotarienne 2023-2024 effectuées entre le 1er juillet et le 31 octobre 2023 seront prises en compte pour la qualification de votre club ... toute contribution effectuée avant le 1er juillet 2023 ou après le 31 octobre 2023 (y compris les engagements existants de contribution via Rotary Direct) ne sera pas prise en compte pour la qualification à ce défi.
  3. Chaque club qui répond aux critères ci-dessus doit remplir le formulaire de reconnaissance du défi (voir ci-dessous) au plus tard le 31 octobre afin d'être reconnu.
  4. Les clubs ont jusqu'au 31 octobre 2023 pour relever le défi.

Reconnaissance

  • Les clubs Rotary et Rotaract du District 7030 qui répondent aux critères ci-dessus et qui le signalent à l'aide du formulaire de reconnaissance seront reconnus publiquement entre le 1er septembre et le 31 octobre.
  • Les 3 meilleurs clubs dans les catégories suivantes seront spécialement reconnus et honorés le 01 novembre 2023
    • Club ayant le plus grand nombre de membres PPS du District 7030
    • Club ayant versé la plus grande contribution au Fonds PolioPlus (entre le 1er juillet et le 31 octobre) par les membres PPS du District 7030
    • Club ayant versé la plus grande contribution per capita au Fonds PolioPlus (entre le 1er juillet et le 31 octobre) par les membres du District 7030 PPS.
  • Tous les clubs participant au PPS Club Challenge recevront une mention spéciale du District 7030.
