With their upcoming direct access to both Global and District Rotary Foundation Grants in 2021, Rotaract clubs in District 7030 are taking on the responsibility to educate their membership and build awareness on the subject.

The first in a series of these informational sessions was spearheaded by the Rotaract Club of Maraval, which hosted District 7030 Grants Chair - PDG Lara Quentrall-Thomas - on Saturday 31st October and sought to provide Rotaractors throughout District 7030 with a better understanding of the following:
  • What Exactly Is a Foundation Grant
  • The Various Types of Foundation Grants Available
  • What Activities, Projects and Programs Foundation Grants Support
  • How Foundation Grants are Funded
  • How Clubs Can Qualify For Foundation Grants
This introductory session is set to be the first of many designed to equip Rotaractors with the relevant knowledge needed to apply for grants on their own from the Rotary/Rotaract year 2021-2022.
