RC St. Lucia Supports Dunnottar School
The Dunnottar School is a special place for differently-abled children and young adults. Over the years, finding sufficient funding has been an ongoing challenge and the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia and the Rotaract Club of Saint Lucia have for some time cooperated on various projects to assist the school. In 2017, RC St. Lucia teamed up with Beachbum Vacations, a US based travel company and their charity arm Beachbum Cares to aid Dunnottar.
After having established a connection between Dunnottar Principal Antonia Joseph and Beachbum owner Hayley Whorell, it was agreed that a sensory pool for children with Autism would benefit the school.
On their recent visit to Saint Lucia the travel agents from Beachbum Vacations visited Dunnottar on Friday April 31, 2017 to make the presentation and for a short period play with the children.
