On 19th December 2016, the long standing St. Lucia Rotary tradition of hosting a Children's Christmas party for primary school kids continued in Augier, in south Saint Lucia. Once again members of the St. Lucia Rotary and Rotaract Clubs teamed up to deliver Christmas cheers to school children who were engaged in singing and playing before Santa Claus delivered presents to each of the 88 students.

As part of a long established tradition, members of the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia visited a school in a rural area of Saint Lucia for a Christmas treat. This year it was the Augier Combined School in the south of Saint Lucia. In cooperation with the members of the Rotaract Club of Saint Lucia and the Rotaract Club of South Saint Lucia, Rotarians, with the assistance of Santa Claus, brought cheer to the children.

Rotaractors played games and all present sang Christmas Carols before everybody was treated for lunch. The highlight was of course Santa Claus presenting a age and gender appropriate Christmas present to every individual child and a good time was had by all, including some of the "older kids"...ho ho ho.
