In an official ceremony held at St. Joseph’s Convent on Friday 3rd February 2017, ninety-seven (97) new Interactors from Castries Comprehensive Secondary School and St. Joseph’s Convent were officially pinned and inducted into Interact.
 
 
 
In his address, AG Konrad Wagner, gave a brief history of Rotary including past and current projects of Rotary International, as well as, those of the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia and he also talked about the structure of Rotary International.

RC St. Lucia President Selma St.Prix congratulated all the new Interactors and emphasized the importance of community service and leadership.
 

Rotaract Club President Jardelle of St. Joseph’s Convent and President Alexander from Castries Comprehensive gave powerpoint presentations of their respective clubs recent projects and officially introduced their Board of Directors to the Rotary leadership on-hand including IPP Timothy James and Club Youth Services Director Ginelle Nelson.

RC Saint Lucia continues to support 5 Interact Clubs in Saint Lucia. They are a very important part of the club's Rotary family and are visited on a regular basis. Equally the Interact leaders are periodically invited to join a Rotary club lunch meeting so as to provide updates on their Interact activities.
 

The St. Joseph’s Convent and the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School clubs have announced their first joint fundraising activity for 2017 and will pursue it together with RC Saint Lucia.
