RC Antigua Sundown Assists Fire Victims

St. John’s Antigua, September 4, 2016 – The Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown (RCAS) recently donated gift certificates to the family of Bernadine Richards Grays Hill, who recently lost their home in a fire.
The gift certificates are redeemable at both Stephen B. Shouls and Happy Kids and will go towards some of the immediate needs of the family such as school uniforms and supplies. School bags were also donated by Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown.
“When tragedy hits, those in our community join together to provide support to those affected and that includes Rotary Sundown – And we’re grateful to have partners like Happy Kids, Stephen B. Shouls and MSJMC on board who are helping in a big way to make this possible”, said Herald Rolland, RCAS President.
“This is not the first time our club has assisted families in need and when we were asked to get involved, we did not hesitate. After all, it’s our humanity that connects all of us and that is the foundation on which Rotary stands.”
