Rotarians know the importance of building our membership and expanding our reach...so it is most critical for us to recognize and commemorate each time we grow as a District and add to our collective tapestry. Effective 2nd July 2020, the Rotary Satellite Club of Diego Martin Evening, Trinidad and Tobago was officially established as a satellite club of the Rotary Club of Diego Martin, and consequently increased the number of satellite clubs in District 7030 from two to three.
This watershed accomplishment is defined by the facts that this is the first satellite club in Trinidad and Tobago, that its membership includes former Rotaractors, and that its objective is to help bridge the gap between veteran Rotarians and younger Rotaractors by actively facilitating mentorship opportunities. Driven by Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Diego Martin, Lucy Ann Henry, the establishment of this newest satellite club and its initial steps into the the world of Rotary is grounded by a current membership of nine (9) new Rotarians, and led by its first Chair - Ms Monique Henry. Congratulations abound from District 7030 on this most significant addition and achievement to our membership.
Nouveau club Rotary satellite à Trinidad et Tobago
Les Rotariens connaissent l’importance de développer notre effectif et d'étendre notre portée... il est donc essentiel de reconnaître et de célébrer chaque instant où nous grandissons en tant que District et que de nouveaux clubs s’ajoutent à notre œuvre collective. Le 2 juillet 2020, le Club Rotary Satellite de Diego Martin Evening, à Trinidad et Tobago, a été officiellement installé en tant que club satellite du Rotary Club de Diego Martin, et a donc fait passer le nombre de clubs satellites du District 7030 de deux à trois.
Cet accomplissement décisif se définit par le fait qu'il s'agit du premier club satellite de Trinidad et Tobago, que ses membres se composent d'anciens Rotaractiens et que son objectif est de contribuer à combler le fossé entre les Rotariens vétérans et les jeunes Rotaractiens en facilitant activement les possibilités de mentorat. Sous l'impulsion du Président sortant du Rotary club de Diego Martin, Lucy Ann Henry, la création de ce nouveau club satellite et ses premiers pas dans le monde du Rotary sont fondés sur un effectif actuel de neuf (9) nouveaux Rotariens, et dirigés par sa première Présidente - Mme Monique Henry. Le District 7030 vous félicite pour cet ajout et cette réalisation des plus significatifs pour nos membres.
