March 11th, 2020: Fellow Rotarians, I stated, in my message of 6th March on the coronavirus, Covid-19 situation, that your health and safety, and that of your families, are paramount. I also stated that, with respect to our District Conference and PETS, we were monitoring the situation as it developed and would follow the advice of the Health Authorities. Based on the advice of these authorities, I must now, unfortunately, announce the cancellation of the 2020 Rotary District 7030 Annual Conference and PETS, scheduled for 22 – 25 April in St Kitts-Nevis.The Conference Committee will be meeting over the next several days to consider the implications of this decision and the next steps, including arrangements for the refund of registration fees paid.
The Committee and I sincerely regret this cancellation, and the inconvenience caused. However, we assure you that this was done with utmost concern for the health and safety of all involved.
