The Rotary Clubs in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis are super excited to welcome the youth from around District 7030 to RYLA 2017. This year promises a dynamic curriculum that includes a range of insightful, thought-provoking and motivating topics, to be delivered in a mix of interactive and stimulating plenary and group sessions! We know you can’t wait to attend so here a few need-to-know tidbits to help you make the best of your RYLA experience...
 
 
 
  1. RYLA Conference Hotel: Bird Rock Beach Hotel: participants will be housed here, all conference sessions will be held onsite
  2. Accommodation: rooms are quad capacity; there will be NO coed rooms
  3. Transportation: The RYLA team will provide Airport pick-up and drop-off service for participants (please be sure to send us your flight information); Transportation during the conference will be provided by the RYLA Team 
  4. Conference Attire:  Participants are expected to dress business casual for conference sessions, members of Rotaract and Interact are allowed to wear club shirts, no sleeveless/skinny straps, excessively short skirts/pants/dresses, no flip flops, jeans are allowed but must be plain and a comfortable fit and devoid of rips and tears, emphasis should be on sobriety, modesty and professionalism:
    • Opening Ceremony – Elegantly Casual to Business Casual (will move into conference sessions immediately following opening ceremony)
    • Session Day 2 – RYLA Shirt (will take group photo at end of last session)
    • Boat Ride – Casual (will have to remove shoes to board boat)
    • Centennial Event – Cultural/National Wear 
    • Community Service Project – Sweats/Exercise Wear, sneakers, will be dealing with paint so don’t wear anything of which you are particularly fond (This event will be in Nevis and is a 45 minute ferry ride away, please walk with motion sickness medication if necessary)
    • Closing Ceremony – Elegantly Casual 
    • Glow Fete After Party - ALL WHITE
  5. Food: All food will be provided at conference – Breakfast will be served everyday from 7AM
  6. Punctuality: Participants are expected to be punctual for ALL conference sessions and events, especially off-site events, buses will depart ON TIME
