Approximately a year ago, the Rotary Club of St. Augustine (T&T) launched the celebration of their Club's 50th Anniversary Commemoration under Immediate Past President Balraj at the Rotary International Conference in Toronto, sharing the milestone at an informal gathering with other Clubs in District 7030 and 7020. This year of Commemoration will culminate at a celebratory event at the end of June 2019.
On 27th June 2019, the Rotary Club of St. Augustine (T&T) formally started their 51st year and on behalf of the Club, Club President Maria Mohammed-Maharaj would like to congratulate Nath Sharma, Past President and Charter Secretary on his 51st Anniversary as a Rotarian and the longest serving member of the Club. PP Nath held the position as President during 1970 to 1971.

Rotarian John Bharath was also a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of St. Augustine, serving on the first Board with the responsibility for Vocational Service, but left the Club during the 70s as he migrated to the UK and came back in 2013. Rotarian John, was, however, an active Rotarian while living in the UK.
