Responsible for identifying, marketing, and implementing membership development strategies that are appropriate for the district. By attracting new members and keeping existing members, we strengthen the clubs of tomorrow. Your committee identifies strategies that will grow membership and promotes them to clubs in your district. It also works with your governor to identify communities that need new clubs. Together you: - Plan and conduct a Vibrant Club workshop in consultation with the governor and district trainer, as well as the district public image and Rotary Foundation chairs. - Check your membership leads regularly and work with your district governor to determine who will manage them. - Identify communities without Rotary clubs that have a population capable of meeting the requirements for chartering a new club, or communities served by existing clubs that could benefit from new clubs. - Encourage clubs to seek diversity and inclusion.
