Member of the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain gathered on Saturday 9th July for the All in One Child Development Centre School's graduation in the Beetham Estate. It was a great occasion in the lives of all the 24 graduating children. Recognition was given for the outstanding work by the staff.

The school places great value on community, learning, fun and a child centered approach, which has meant a lot to the local community. None of this would have been possible without the dedicated and caring staff lead by Principal Ms. Charmaine Anderson. They clearly loved being with the children as much as the children loved being with them. The children have enjoyed learning and that skill will help them so much as they progress with their education at such a young age, growing in confidence.

Present were the Board of Directors of the school Mr. Henry Sealy, Ms. Charmaine Anderson and Ms. Patsy Holder (a resident of the Beetham), led by the Chairman Mr. Peter Aleong (an ex member of RC Central Port of Spain), together with a few sponsors: Massy Technologies lead by Mr. David Belgrave and RC Central Port of Spain led by Club President Ms. Charmaine Callender, Service Projects Chair Ms. Nicole Matouk, Public Relations Chair Mr. Gary Gregoire and Club Administration Chair Mr. Anthony John Baptiste.

Also in attendance were the parents of the graduating children and Teachers of the school. Ms. Carmela Charles, Ms. Pamela Williams, Ms. Leslie Charles, Ms. Erica Alexander-James.

The school Board announced the establishment of a library in honor of a founding member, Mr. George Alleyne, recently deceased, who was also a past and honorary member of RC Central Port of Spain. Mr. Anthony John Baptiste, son-in-law and Ms. Damani Cummings, the granddaughter of the late Mr. George Alleyne were present in support.

Looking ahead the children are well equipped to take on the next part of their educational lives. The school has given a strong foundation and we felt very confident that they have been given a great start in life.

The children were dressed in their finest for the occasion and performed poems, old time days dancing, nursery rhymes and singing and then changed for their gymnastics display led by their instructor Ms. Dionne Noel.  A slide show was also presented outlining the various activities on the curriculum. Some parents gave testimonials of their children's progress and of the school's support for their own personal development as parents.

What parent would not give a million dollars for their children to have that attitude all their lives.

Certificates of recognition together with book bags and stationary were given to the children, and hampers were given out to the parents of the graduates. Sponsors included RC Central Port of Spain, Massy Stores, National Canners Limited and hair products by local Conair Corporation representative Ms. Michelle Ruiz-Jones and many others.
