First Interact Club of Aruba Chartered & Installed

On Friday 25th November, the first Interact Club of Aruba was installed!! A total of 21 members were pinned by former Rotary International Director Mrs. Julia Phelps. The Interact Club of Aruba was chartered on October 3rd, 2016.
President Stanley Looman of the Rotary Club of Aruba installed the first President of Interact Club — Ms. Andrea Nuboer.
Andrea pinned then pinned the Club Board for 2016-2017 consisting of: Max Manichand as Vice-President, Franzver van Burik as Secretary, Kyle Budhu Lall as Treasurer, Jesse Damen as Sergeant At Arms and Club Directors Maxime Ingwersen and Sufi Wadhwani.
The Rotary Club of Aruba is a very proud sponsor of this first Interact Club of Aruba, that is a school-based club at Schakel College. The faculty advisor on behalf of Schakel College is Mr. Ruud de Jong. Rotarians Frederick Nuboer and Shelby Maduro will function as advisors on behalf of the Rotary Club of Aruba who have worked very hard over the last couple of months to establish this Interact Club.
The Rotary family on Aruba has expanded with the addition of these 21 new members and the Rotary Club of Aruba together with the Rotaract Club of Aruba are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with these Interactors to further serve the Aruban community and those in need.
The 21 new Interact members are: Andrea Nuboer (President), Carlina Valkenburg, Caroline Janse, Darrin Wever, Ellys Pineda-Solis, Francesca Koeman, Gilbertus Henriquez, Franzver van Burik (Secretary), Giulia Brezovar, Herman Nahar, Isabelle de Cuba, Jesse Damen (Sergeant at Arms), Jim Weerdt, Joshua Sou, Kyle Budhu Lall (Treasurer), Laurensz Moeharram, Max Manichand (Vice-President), Maxime Ingwersen (Director), Rhea Wadhwani, Sufi Wadhwani (Director) and Trinity Meza-Orellana.
