2016-17 ROPA

Nominate A Project For A Rotaract Outstanding Project Award

Every year, Rotaract clubs around the world change lives. Rotaractors develop innovative solutions to community problems. Tell us about your Rotaract club’s best local or international service project from the past year. We’ll share your success with the world and inspire others to take action.

The purpose of the Rotaract Outstanding Project Awards is to recognize exceptional community or international service projects that further the goals of Rotary International.

To nominate a club for the 2016-17 Rotaract Outstanding Project Awards:
  • Select one project. Highlight a Rotaract Club’s commitment, creativity, and collaboration. We’re looking for high-impact, sustainable service that aligns with at least one of Rotary’s areas of focus.
  • Gather media. Collect photos, social media posts, local media coverage, or videos of your members in action that demonstrate how this Rotaract club creates positive change.
  • Tell your story. Complete the nomination form by 1 February.
Each online nomination form must be submitted by 1 February 2017. Awards will be granted to one winner in each of the designated regions. Awards will also be granted to international winners for projects submitted by a single club, projects submitted by more than one club or an entire Rotary district, and multi-district projects. We encourage clubs, districts, and multi-districts to work together to maximize their impact and increase collaboration, however each Rotaract club, district, or multi-district may submit only one project for consideration each year. Winners will be announced at the Rotaract Pre-convention Meeting. Projects that took place from 1 February 2016 through 31 January 2017 are eligible for consideration. Rotaract clubs that have won the award in previous years are still eligible to win again.
